Marys lamentations

The aim of this work is to push the limits of music and performance, requiring a musician with excellent technical knowledge of the instrument, creative thinking, adaptability, and strong performance skills. The piece tells the story of a young hunter starting his journey for this reason, the musician will start the piece outside the concert hall. As the hunter enters the hall and approaches the stage, he performs a praying ritual while still playing as a natural horn and stomping his feet.

Upon arriving on stage, the musician plays an old Hungarian musical poem called Ómagyar Mária-siralom, exploring the stage and utilizing all available space. At the end of the poem, Mary blesses him and gifts him with the bell as a token of her devotion. The musician will then sing a song symbolizing Mary and leave the stage, walking through the audience as an experienced hunter. The piece culminates on the balcony, where the musician plays Mary's theme on the horn, accompanied by the piano, bringing the performance to a heartfelt conclusion. Overall, this work celebrates the power of music and its ability to connect people, inspiring us to explore new sonic possibilities and expand our musical horizons. Thank you for your interest, and I hope you will join me for this unique and moving performance.
