Rembrandt Exolvuntur

"Rembrandt Exolvuntur" is a composition for Baritone Saxophone and Piano. This piece reflects the influence of Rembrandt's paintings, somes of this works I had the privilege to see in person at the Mauritshuis Museum in The Hague. Notable paintings that influenced this composition include "The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp" (1632) and "Andromeda" (1630). I aimed to capture the dramatic intensity and emotional depth of Rembrandt's masterpieces, resulting in a virtuosic and emotional performance.
